Qingyuan Introduction

Sights
Yingxi Corridor of Stone Peaks
Known as the largest apexes corridor, it is embraced with thousands of Limestone Mountains that are winded by brooks and dotted with caves and ancient buildings. Among these spots, one would find two jungles, two caves and two relics.
Qian Jun Apex Jungle is located 3 kilometers in the south of Jiulong Town. The stone peaks here are not connected with each other but closely next to each other. All the stone peaks are leaning to the east like a well prepared army dashing towards the enemy. The other one is Gongzhengxishu Apex jungle. There are thousands of various configurations of apices. Each possesses its own position and shape. Among them there are rivulets winding among them which add much more nimbus.
Besides the above scenic spots, in the corridor, there are Rongqiang Small Guilin, Longjiaoshan Mountain, Wangchaoshishan Mountain, Mingjing Inverted Image, Diaoxiang Rock, Heshun Rock, Yingkesong Pine, Yongfeng Ancient Temple, and Feima Temple Site and so on.

Lianzhou Underground River Scenic Spot
Lianzhou Underground River Scenic Spot covers 53.000 square kilometers. Going along the zigzag and undulating path on the first layer, one could see various configurations of stalactites: Milei Buddha, Guangong, Mengjiangnv, and other lifelike animals as well as vivid characters in the legends. Layer upon layer stalactite is like terraced fields winding in the two banks of Xianrenhe River with beautiful and zigzag shape. The landscape is very similar to Huanglong (yellow dragon) in Sichuan Province).
Then walk down the lower layer, you can see an underground river endlessly extending to the cave. If you go ahead by boat along the dark river, you can see the zigzagging river way widening one moment, narrowing the next. The narrowest place is just 1.6 meters, and you can touch the stalactite if you raise your hands. On the way, you will pass through Xiangjiao Valley, Lianhua Valley and Longmen Valley, and appreciate the various configurations of stalactites on both sides.

Feilaixia Valley
Feilaixia Valley is also named Zhongsuxia Valley and Qingyuanxia Valley. It is located in section of Beijiang River in the east of Qingyuan City. It is named from the ancient temple-Feilai Temple which is on the northern bank of the valley. Su Shi wrote a poem which is: sky is widening in Qingyuanxia Valley. The valley is from Pajiang River estuary by the east to Baimianyu by the west. The whole distance is 9 Kilometers. The deepest place is 36 meters. And the water here is dark blue and green. The two sides are surrounded by green apices and forest. There are famous Guiyuan Cave, Heguang Cave, Woxian Cave, Ningbi Gulf, Baipao Pool and Jinsuo Pool in the valley. On the both sides, there are 72 apices standing facing each other such as Zuigao Apex, Er¡¯gao Apex, Longnv Apex, Fenghuang Apex, Xianren Apex and so on. And among them, there are Feilai Temple, Feixiadongxianguan, Cangxiatongxianguan and Jinxiachanyuan, all of which were built in 520 AD.

Huang Teng Xia Drifting
Qingyuan is also said to have the most exciting white water rafting in China. The section of river open to rafting is 4.8 kilometers long and has more than 130 river falls, the highest being 12 meters. Visitors will be able to experience the waterfall and the peculiar stone formations drifting along the river.
Huang Teng Xia drifting features clean water, breath-taking view and fresh air. It is well known and regarded the most attractive, most exciting and most fun place in present China.
